A brief background on Hayden

The proudest accomplishment of my childhood is a breakfast potato recipe that I've been working on since I was allowed to use the stove. I still learn something every time I make them.

I love making food, and I love sharing it.

almost every job i’ve had has been either making food or serving it, starting when i was 15 at cinnabon in the mall.

Pasta has slowly begun to take over my life however, & I’m not in the slightest bit upset.

I tried doing something else, I studied architecture & spent time working in wood shops. These experiences helped develop my attention to detail and led me back to food with more passion.

My interest here is in pasta as craft.

& in bringing better quality ingredients to your table. This leads me to an experience my mother had with pasta. After many years avoiding gluten, she discovered that she could enjoy pasta made with Italian wheat. This led to me making pasta with the best imported grains that I could find, pasta that my mom, and many other people like her, can eat without a problem.

So here I am, making the best pasta possible,

pasta that makes you feel good, for you to enjoy & share.

Fishtown Pasta opened on the corner of Thompson & Palmer in July of 2025.
